Virtual Yin Yoga option

First Yin class of each month also has a virtual option!
Part of your class pass or $25 drop in - Led by Ginger - Sign up here
YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN SET OF PROPS AT HOME FOR THE VIRTUAL OPTION
(bolsters, blocks, blankets, strap)
Yin Yoga is a way to build resilience and vitality in to the tendons, ligaments, fascia, and all connective tissues in general. Yin Yoga can be a bit more intense than Restorative Yoga because the purpose is not primarily relaxation. The goal is to get into a pose and relax as much as possible, within the limits of safety, so that a small load can be placed on the connective tissues—just enough to start building in more resilience. You will be encouraged to listen to the signals from your own body to let you know when the load is too much on the tissues.

Reducing Your Body Pattern of Stress & Anxiety

In this introductory lesson, we will explore how intention and attention counteract the body pattern of stress and anxiety. We will create the conditions in which you are able to remind your brain and your nervous system of what it feels like to feel better; our nervous system is attracted to feeling better.  I will help you to understand and to learn how to better organize yourself to move away from this body pattern of stress and anxiety.
