Are you new to yoga, coming back to yoga, or would just like to learn more about yoga fundamentals? Then this series is for you! This is a 6 week series, one class per week, that you sign up for as a package deal. Each week builds on the previous week. This series will help to familiarize you with many of the fundamental yoga asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing practices), and concepts that you will encounter in a typical yoga class. By the end of the series, you should feel comfortable coming to any of our Yoga Fundamentals, Slow Flow, Gentle Chair, Yin, Restorative, and Unwind yoga classes. After a month or so of attending those classes regularly, you might feel comfortable incorporating some Hatha or Essential Flow classes into your repertoire as well. Just take it at your own pace. Feel free to take this course as many times as you like in the future if you would like a refresher.
