Adam Lapierre

The saying goes, "when the student is ready, the teacher appears." Accordingly, the teachings of yoga were revealed to me at a time in my life when I was especially open to receiving them. The physical practice of yoga, including asana (postures), pranayama (breath regulation) and drishti (gazing point) had a profound effect on me from the early days of my practice, helping me find a place of stillness and surrender.

I received my primary training from Rusty Wells in San Francisco, but remain an earnest practitioner and eager student. I find inspiration from many teachers, and while it is impossible to name them all, here are a few who have been especially powerful: Rusty Wells, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Jiddu Krishnamurti, UG Krishnamurti, Alan Watts, Gary Weber, Adyashanti, Stephanie Snyder and Jason Crandell. Multiple systems of Hatha yoga inform my offering, including Ashtanga Vinyasa, Iyengar, Bikram and Kundalini Yoga methods.

My aim is to create a supportive, energetic and challenging environment which enables practitioners to discover the life-changing power of the practice for themselves.

The purpose of this life is for our upliftment and the upliftment of others. At the heart of yoga is the realization that all is One.
