Stephanie Hernandez
Stephanie first discovered yoga in her 20's after suffering from a lower back injury that limited her range of motion. She practiced all types of yoga throughout the Los Angeles area but often found that something was missing during her practices. After spending some time in Asia, she got the opportunity to try classes that took more of an Eastern and holistic approach and was hooked! She was inspired to enroll in a 200- hour teacher training, where she was able to break down the asanas, find the proper modifications for her own practice, and finally learned to listen and advocate for her own body. Stephanie aspires to pass on the knowledge she acquired during her training to help others deepen their practice, find what works best for them, prevent injuries, and make yoga accessible to all. Her classes will often start with grounding techniques, moving into breath work, before going into asanas, and ending in her favorite pose, Shavasana!
It is her dream to continue to grow within her practice and learn more about yoga philosophy, pranayamas, meditation, and hopefully one day, yoga therapy.
Stephanie enjoys reading and bingeing shows, nature walks/hiking, traveling, and food! If you see her around or have any recommendations on yummy food spots, don't hesitate to reach out.
