Happy November, Yoga Family!
We are excited to unveil some unique offerings this month that get to the heart of what we aim to do at our studio: blending the ancient practice of yoga with modern concepts of movement and science to promote mind/body awareness, healing, and ultimately forging a path toward a healthy and fulfilling life. (Wow, was that a mouthful?)
Julie brings her somatic movement expertise to her evening Pop Up, Ginger’s 8 Limb workshop focuses on Asanas, and Naomi offers her wisdom on menopause to a restorative practice. This open level workshop is an introduction to somatic movement techniques that can help you transition between poses, find subtle and supportive movements in moments of stillness, and develop sensory awareness from the inside out. Julie a dancer and certified somatic movement educator, offers a range of accessible ways to find stability and practice freedom of expression in this playful and practical workshop for both seasoned yogis and beginners.

11/8 The 8 Limbs Workshop - Day 3: Asanas, with Ginger

11/11 MONDAY POPUP: Yoga for Menopause with Naomi
Designed to help anyone in perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause to manage symptoms, the Pop Up also aims to reframe menopause as an opportunity for self knowledge, health, and empowerment. Through adapted movement with props, breathwork, and sharing circles, Naomi’s workshop helps you find simple ways to feel more like yourself.

11/28 Thanksgiving Yoga & Meditation with Yuko
9 am | $35
Ease into your Thanksgiving weekend with a heart-opening yoga practice, followed by a generosity meditation inspired by Aparigraha, or non-hoarding. Experience abundance and letting go at the same time.

11/29 Good Vibrations Sound Bath Fundraiser with Ginger
3 pm | $50
Relax to the grounding and healing vibrations of crystal bowls and kick off the holiday season with a giving heart. Bring your friends and family! Featuring light yoga and stretching, full sound bath, a little cider all for a good cause. Half of the proceeds will go to the Pike Market Food Bank, which provides free groceries to downtown Seattle residents experiencing food insecurity.
